Who are we?

Hi there!

My name is Barbara Penalver-Trejo, owner and lead planner of B & Z Events Co.
My love for event planning was always a part of me, however, it truly began to bloom during my time as an intern at The Coral Gables Country Club. This was my first real experience with weddings, non-profit events, and corporate events. From then on, I knew this was what I wanted to do - and weddings had stolen my heart.

I am an FIU Graduate with my Bachelors in Hospitality Management, with a focus on Event Management. I am also a Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society.
My career has centered mainly in the hotel industry, but always focused on weddings and social events.

Now, with 10 years of experience under my belt, I am excited to be launching my own wedding planning company.

It’s a dream come true for me, and I hope that with working together, I can help you achieve your wedding dreams as well!
